Adjuster Training

In order to adjust daily claims in LA you must have a resident LA Adjuster's license. A Texas or any other state license is reciprocal to get a resident license IF you have proof of 5 years of adjusting experience. If you do not have 5 years of experience you must take the state licensing exam. We are speaking of daily claims only. CAT adjuster's do not have to have a resident license to adjust during a state of emergency they must have an emergency license. Therefore, new adjusters that are wanting to make a career of insurance adjusting in LA must take and pass the exam to get a license.
